Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on level of qualifications and experience. 

Available Positions: 

1. Lead Instructor: Mathematics Foundations & Brand Ambassador  This is a contract remote role for a Lead Mathematics instructor in collaboration with Reading Ready DMV Plus. Candidates in the Washington DC metro area are preferred. As the Lead Math instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students' mathematical understanding and skills across various educational levels. This role will require developing and implementing customized lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and their families. A qualified candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for empowering students to become confident mathematicians.

As an Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in representing our organization, inspiring students, and promoting educational programs that empower individuals to succeed. You will be the face of our brand in the community, engaging with various stakeholders, including students, parents, educators, and community partners, to foster relationships and create awareness about our initiatives and services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
• At least 2 years of full-time experience instructing or teaching math at varying levels
• Experience gathering and analyzing diagnostic assessment data
• Track record of success through quantitative measures of student achievement
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts from elementary to advanced levels.
• Excellent knowledge of mathematics teaching strategies and interventions grounded in the research
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and lead with student assets 
• Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to student empowerment
• Experience using technology for remote instruction is a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Act as the organization's representative in the community and at events.

2. Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to support our online marketing efforts in a fully remote role. This internship is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in social media management, video editing, and digital marketing while working within an established marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish pre-created content across social media platforms using our social media management system.
• Edit short-form videos for social media and long-form content for YouTube.
• Follow and execute our predetermined marketing calendar to ensure content is published on schedule.
• Assist with maintaining a consistent brand presence across digital channels.
• Communicate with the marketing team regarding content scheduling and completion.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and content scheduling tools (Plannable).
• Proficiency with video editing software (such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a virtual environment.

Internship Details

Location: Fully Remote

Time Commitment: Approximately 7–8 hours per month

Stipend: $100 per month
